YOUR QUESTIONS, OUR ANSWERS
Questions about the folders :
People asked us why there are 2 or 3 colors on a same folder. The answer is simple:
. The white-grey-black folder : a picture cannot be all black, or all white ! So the grey is the logical shading color.
. The beige-brown folder : those colors are related because brown is 80% part of the shadings for the ocre color (the contrary is also true).
. Same goes for the yellow-orange-red folder. And a all yellow picture is not very easy to find (and eyes killing), orange is very often a part of the shadings for this color. Yes, we could have done a "red" folder alone, but we also saw many orange-red pictures. This is why we put all those 3 colors together, so it will be easier for you when you submit something and for us.
. Same explanation for the purple-pink folder, those colors often mix together for shadings.
So, please take care on which folder you submit your picture. Thank you ~
Can I submit a picture of an artist I like, and/or pictures that can be good in my opinion for your group ?
Of course and we really appreciate people who take the time to search and submit artworks here. They help us to keep the group alive.
The picture you will submit will first be approved (or declined) by us, and after by the artist who owns it before it can be part of the group.
Please respect the rules when you submit something (especially the fact that the group is for monochrome pictures) and post it on the right folder.
Will you open a "multiple colors" folder ?
No we won't, sorry. This is not the purpose of this group.
Will you do contests on your group ?
No, all we want is to share with you the maximum of amazing monochrome pictures. You will only receive the new additions on the group.
